T20 World Cup 2021, India vs Pakistan: Team India leaves hotel for Dubai International Stadium (WATCH)

On Sunday, India is taking on Pakistan in the Super 12 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 at the Dubai International Stadium. Ahead of the game, Team India has left its team hotel for the venue.


On Sunday, Arch-rivals India and Pakistan lock horns in Group 2's Super 12 stage of the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup at the Dubai International Stadium. With this being the sixth clash between the two in the tournament, India heads in with a traditional upper hand, winning all five encounters to date.

On the other hand, Pakistan has improved a lot since it last faced India in the competition back in 2016. It would now be led by its top batter Babar Azam, while the side is currently ranked third in the ICC T20I Rankings, a spot below India. Thus, Virat Kohli and co are all set to face stiff competition from its neighbouring rival.

Ahead of this intense clash, Team India has geared up to the fullest, convincingly winning both its warm-up matches. As it looks to deliver in their opening contest of this tournament, it is on its way to the venue. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared a video of the same.

In the video, the team, led by Virat Kohli, leaves the team hotel in Dubai one by one as it prepares to board the team bus en route to the Dubai International Stadium. The BCCI gave a morale-boosting caption to get India going, as it read, "Let's do this #TeamIndia! #T20WorldCup".

The video also saw comments from Indian wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha, who noted, "All the best TEAM!" along with pacer Siddharth Kaul, who commented, "All the best 🦁 and JAI HIND". The same video was captioned on Twitter by BCCI, "Off we go for our first match of #T20WorldCup #TeamIndia".
