Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan have turned Good Samaritans as they distributed 4,000 masks in Vadodara amid the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19)
Vadodara: In these difficult times in India due to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), former India cricketers Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan have doing their bit for the society as they provided masks to the needy.
Irfan shared a video on his Twitter account and said it is a “small start”. He urged everyone to help each other. The Pathan brothers have donated 4,000 masks.
“Doing our bit for the society. Whatever u guys can do please go ahead and help each other as far as sanitation is concerned.But don’t gather crowd! @iamyusufpathan #corona it’s a small start hopefully we will be keep helping more. Everyone of us... (sic),” Irfan tweeted with a video on Monday (March 23).

— Irfan Pathan (@IrfanPathan)Irfan said the masks were bought in the name of the Mehmood Khan Pathan Charitable Trust. The trust is run by Pathan brothers’ father Mehmood Khan. According to the left-handed former all-rounder, the masks will be handed over to Vadodara health department. It will later be distributed to the needy.
In India, as per latest reports, over 400 people have tested positive for coronavirus. Eight people have lost their lives.
