Skoda Auto has published two official design concepts of the much-anticipated SLAVIA ahead of its formal unveiling in November 2021. The INDIA 2.0 project's second new product, a luxury midsize sedan for the A0 class, follows the KUSHAQ SUV, released in early 2021. Similarly, the Slavia is built-in Pune and is based on the MQB-A0-IN version of the Volkswagen Group's Modular Transverse Toolkit, which Skoda Auto has particularly modified for the Indian market.
The first design sketch features the SLAVIA's front and silhouette. The model's name refers to the company's early days when the first bicycles were sold in Mladá Boleslav in 1896 by founding fathers Václav Laurin and Václav Klement, and it means to glory in Czech. The picture depicts the car's low front end, which has a broad, hexagonal Skoda grille that extends to slim, clearly defined headlamps with L-shaped daytime running light strip. The coupé shape, extended wheelbase, and a unique logo with the Skoda wordmark on the front wings are noticeable.

The second drawing is of the new Skoda Auto Slavia's rear end. The sedan's roofline softly dips towards the back, where it integrates beautifully and effortlessly into the boot lid. The Skoda wordmark in block letters and a rear apron with a chrome strip add to the model's distinctive appearance. Furthermore, reflectors on either side highlight the vehicle's breadth. The taillights are separated into two sections and continue into the boot lid, with Skoda's distinctive C-shaped lighting design.
The Skoda Slavia is built on the locally developed and manufactured MQB A0-IN platform, which is already intended to fulfil India's new, higher safety and emissions standards. Like the popular Skoda Kushaq, the new luxury midsize sedan was primarily developed at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Technology Centre in Pune.
