The electric car market in India is expanding gradually, with numerous carmakers joining on board. This is especially true for premium automobile manufacturers such as Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, and Volvo. However, the ring of luxury EVs now lacks a BMW alternative. However, that will change shortly, albeit to a lesser level; MINI, which BMW owns, plans to offer an electric car in India very soon. The MINI Cooper SE EV, which had its global premiere in July 2019, will be launched. The luxury automaker teased its first EV option for the Indian market on its social media accounts, implying that the Cooper SE might be on sale here in a few weeks.
MINI Cooper SE is the three-door Cooper hatchback's all-electric variant. Even while it appears identical to its fuel cousin, the all-electric MINI hatchback has a few distinguishing aesthetic characteristics, such as a fake grille and unique alloy wheel design. The EV will be offered in a variety of dual-tone colour schemes. The MINI Cooper SE is distinguished by its three-part construction, minimal overhangs, and widely spaced wheels. The charger connection is placed above the right-hand rear wheel, directly above the petrol filler neck on a conventionally powered MINI 3 Door.
