In a viral video, Donald Trump was captured sitting inside the limousine ‘The Beast’ after landing in Chicago and apparently breathing heavily after walking down a flight of stairs, with the footage sparking fresh online concerns about his health. In July last year, vascular surgeon Dr Kwame Amankwah, chief of vascular surgery at the University of Connecticut, explained that the condition involves weakened vein valves that have trouble returning blood efficiently from the legs back up to the heart.

Since Trump’s cardiovascular health has also been evaluated, an interventional cardiologist, Dr Eric Secemsky, explained that chronic venous insufficiency is a common condition that becomes more prevalent with age and typically causes ankle and leg swelling. However, there have been no reports of Trump’s heart failure.
