
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday urged the Telugu diaspora in London to promote the objectives of 'Telangana Rising' globally and help project the state's development vision on the international stage. CM Revanth Reddy, along with Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, met representatives of the Telugu diaspora in London and discussed the state's development and future growth.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister called upon the Telugu diaspora to become partners in Telangana's development and act as ambassadors for the state across the world. "Telugu diaspora should also be partners in the development of Telangana," Revanth Reddy said, urging community members to actively promote the goals and objectives of Telangana Rising among the international community.
The Chief Minister emphasised the role of Telangana people living abroad in taking the state's development message to a wider global audience and creating greater awareness about its future aspirations. CM Revanth Reddy also encouraged the diaspora to strengthen its engagement with Telangana and contribute to the state's development initiatives.
Sridhar Babu also participated in the interaction and discussed Telangana's development and future progress with representatives of the Telugu community.
The Chief Minister's appeal comes as the Telangana Rising delegation is undertaking engagements in the United Kingdom to highlight investment opportunities and the state's development vision.
During the visit, the delegation has also held discussions with leading academic institutions in the UK on opportunities in education, research and entrepreneurship.
Revanth Reddy reiterated that the Telugu diaspora can play an important role in promoting Telangana globally and urged community members to help strengthen the state's presence and image on the international platform. (ANI)
