On the sidelines of the G20 conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other world leaders paid a visit to the iconic Trevi Fountain in Rome on Sunday. The fountain is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Italy. The historical fountain has drawn many filmmakers, who have popularised the Baroque art-styled monument as the epitome of a romantic setting. "The second day of the #G20RomeSummit begins with a walk to a symbolic location in the city: Trevi Fountain, one of the world's most beautiful fountains and famous for the traditional coin toss. #G20Italia," G20 Italy issued a tweet on Sunday.

It is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world, standing 26.3 metres high and 49.15 metres broad. According to a video posted by the G20 Italy, the delegation also threw a coin from over their shoulder into the fountain. It is said that if you throw a coin over your shoulder into the fountain's water, you will return to Rome. After visiting the iconic fountain, Modi will hold a bilateral discussion with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. He will also attend a Sustainable Development seminar and a 'Supply Chain Resilience' event.
