After the Italian authorities banned cruise ships from entering Venice's historical centre, the European Space Agency astronaut uploaded numerous photos of the ancient city in a recent post.

In a lengthy Instagram post supporting the ban, the French aerospace engineer stated that this renowned city's 'unsung heroes' are the 'thick wooden planks.

The 43-year-old discussed the city's present issues, which include climate change and human migration, among others.
Pesquet's tweet has gone popular on social media since it was shared 19 hours ago. His most recent photos have received over 86,000 likes on the photo-video sharing site. Meanwhile, netizens responded to the post with a flood of emoticons and kind remarks.
