COVID-19 curse confront radish growers as tonnes of their produce lie without being transported due to price crash.
Farmer Prakash Bingi said his 1.5 acre land has produced good yield and by now he should have sold at least 4,000 quintal. Due to lockdown and price crash, everything now seems grim.
The farmer said that in the market, the price offered earlier per quintal was Rs 2000, but now post lockdown, the price has come down to Rs 300.
