Davanagere: Karnataka BJP MLA MP Renukacharya was in Davanagere to take part in Hori Habba (competition involving bulls) organised as part of Diwali celebrations. A large crowd of people welcomed MLA Renukacharya by lifting him on their shoulders. At that moment, an ox was seen speeding towards the crowd. It rammed through the crowd and sped through it injuring many people. It brushed past Renukacharya, but he escaped unhurt.
