Two Karnataka residents stuck in Gujarat's Valsad district due to the lockdown have been forced to spend their time inside a car for the last 20 days.
The businessmen who had been to Rajkot, while returning, got stuck near Bilad Taluk checkpost in Valsad district on March 24 night. They informed their relatives in Dakshin Kannada of their situation.
Following requests by relatives and friends, deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada had written a letter to Valsad district collector to ensure shelter and food for Ashik Hussain and Mohammed Takeen Maril
However, so far, no help has arrived, and the two businessmen are forced to sleep and eat in their car.
A local has been helping them with food but there is no sign of any help from Valsad district administration yet.
