Coronavirus fear: Karnataka farmers wash notes in soap water

Mandya: Few farmers in a village from Karnataka's Mandya were seen washing currency notes with soap water to avoid the spread of coronavirus. In a viral video, the farmers can be seen washing Rs 2,000, 500 and 100 denomination notes with soap water. 

It is reported that after watching awareness drives of district administration to wash hands after touching notes, farmers have gone overboard. Fear of contracting coronavirus drove these farmers to take this step.
