Unemployed Joint Action Committee (JAC) chairman Manavath Roy alleged that TSPSC chairman Ghanta Chakrapani abused him when they went to submit a memorandum to the chairman regarding increase in age limit for Forest Range Officer (FRO) posts from 28 to 32 years. Chakrapani also remarked that FRO is equivalent to civil service IFS (Indian Forest Services) level.
Manavath Roy demanded for the immediate raise of FRO age limit from 28 to 32 years. He also reminded that when the notification was issued in 2011 in the undivided AP, the age limit was 30. At that time K Chandrasekhar Rao during Telangana agitation said that they would give employment to their people only after bifurcation.
But it’s been three years since Telangana was formed but CM KCR took a long time to issue the notification and that there has been an age lapse for most of the unemployed.
The unemployed members of the JAC warned the Telangana government of dire consequences if they play with the lives of the unemployed. Manavath Roy also criticised the chairman for his ignorance saying that the age limit of IFS exam conducted by UPSC is 32 years.
