Flag Hoisting: ABVP RSS men abuse Muslim Principal

Mohammed Yakeen, Principal of Government College at Nizamabad in Telangana, was victimised by ABVP, RSS They alleged that he was wearing shoes while hoisting the flag and hurled abuses st him They even dragged him outside and continued to abuse him
Mohammed Yakeen, Principal of Government College at Nizamabad in Telangana, was dragged out of the College premises by ABVP and RSS men alleging that he was wearing his shoes while hoisting the flag.
The Muslim Principal was hoisting the flag in the College premises when members of ABVP and RSS shouted slogans against him and literally dragged him out of the venue, as they continued to shout slogans.

Currently, those hurling abuses and dragging the Principal have been booked under IPC Sections 290 (Punishment for public nuisance), 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty), 153A (Promoting enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language).
The College authorities have written to the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao about the unfortunate incident and have demanded action against the accused.
In reality, the Flag Code of India does not specify that one needs to remove shoes to hoist the flag. This can be seen as another way of goonism by the various fractions.
