
A few days back, reports claimed that Xiaomi is all set to launch a new device with 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. However, the company surprised everyone by upgrading the Mi Note 2 with the said features.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was launched in three variants last year - 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB global version. It was also came dipped in three colours namely Bright black, Bright silver black, and Glacier silver.
Now, the all-new Mi Note 2 variant with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage is now being launched, but will be available only in Bright black model. Apart from a new variant, there is no change in the specifications. The device sports a 5.7-inch dual-edge curved display. Under the hood, it gets a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 processor.
On the camera front, the Mi Note 2 comes with a 22.56MP rear snapper with EIS ( Electronic Image stabilisation) and supports 4K resolution for videos. For selfies, it has an 8MP camera with auto-focus. Finally, a 4070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 completes the package.
