Just like most flagships from leading phone makers, one can expect two variants allegedly named Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus. The Mi 6 will sport a 5.15-inch Full HD display while the Plus variant will come with a bigger 5.7-inches Full HD display.
The differences will not be limited to the display alone. The Mi 6 is likely to get a 19MP Sony IMX400 sensor while the Mi 6 plus could come with a dual camera setup with 12MP Sony IMX261 sensors. Both devices will get a selfie shooter of 8MP.
Both will run Android-based MIUI 8, but the Plus variant could have a UI based on Nougat and the other variant with slightly older Marshmallow.
The device is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. However, there have been reports of a delay, pushing 835 to May. The Mi 6 could get 4GB/6GB RAM and the Mi 6 Plus has 6GB RAM. In terms of storage, one can expect 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants.
The Mi 6 Plus variant will be fuelled by a 4500mAh battery while the Mi 6 is likely to get a slightly smaller 3200mAh battery.
