In India, Apple has launched its first real retail shop. Apple CEO Tim Cook officially opened the store. Apple boasts that this is one of the most environmentally friendly stores, since it will be carbon neutral and run entirely on renewable energy.
Apple CEO Tim Cook opened the doors of the first Apple physical retail shop in India on Tuesday, with thousands of Apple fans and tech aficionados cheering from the outside. People in Mumbai will be able to try and purchase Apple devices at the Jio World Drive mall in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) from Tuesday afternoon. Apple's shop is a significant step towards increasing its offline presence in the Indian market and competing with Samsung.

Apple developed a special playlist on the Apple Music app and issued new iPhone wallpapers to commemorate the opening of its first shop in India.

— TechKnow_IT (@Mr_Techie)It has about 4,50,000 wood components collected from Delhi. As soon as you walk inside the store, you'll see a 14-metre-long stainless steel staircase and two grey stone walls, all of which were sourced from Rajasthan, as well as the mosaic flooring.

The store will stock all of Apple's existing items in India, including MacBooks, iPhones, iPads, and watches. It also features the Apple Arcade, the Apple HomePod, Apple Music, and Apple TV+. The opening of the store is the next big step from Apple in strengthening its footprint in India.
The BKC store's 100-member crew speaks more than 20 languages, understands every Apple product, and can guide visitors through the required technology.
