Vodafone adds new cheaper data plan

Vodafone has announced new data plan to combat Jio. The new plan brings up to 250MB 3G/4G data to its prepaid customers at Rs 87.
Those who do not have a 4G-enabled device will get 50MB data only. In addition to data, users can also get unlimited local and STD Vodafone to Vodafone calls at the price.
Users will also get 100 minutes of local and STD calls to other networks. Also note that it is weekly offer and so the validity won't exceed seven days.
It should be noted that the price of this plan can vary depending upon your circle. For instance, it is available at Rs 91 for Mumbai users.
To activate the offer, Vodafone users will have to dial the USSD code *444*87# from their mobile phone.
We've earlier seen, Vodafone add SuperHour plans that start at as low as Rs 7. Super hour plans bring unlimited local Vodafone to Vodafone calls, unlimited 4G/3G data for an hour. It should be noted that the one hour duration will be based from the time the pack is made active in Vodafone systems.
Vodafone's other plans are priced at Rs 21 and Rs 16. At Rs 16 it offers unlimited 3G/4G data for one hour while at Rs 21, users get unlimited Vodafone to Vodafone calls for an hour. Besides, users can also opt for a 2G one-hour data plan at Rs 5.
