Twitter goes live after brief service disruption

Synopsis

Twitter is back online after its brief downtime across the world including India, Australia, Asia, America and a few other countries.

Users who tried logging into the popular micro-blogging site were reportedly receiving a service error, saying that "Something is technically wrong" and the company is still working on a fix.

Just a little while ago, the service monitoring website downrightnow stated that Twitter is facing "a likely service disruption." On the contrary, various reports suggest that the Twitter app was working fine for iOS and Android while the desktop version suffered a brief service disruption.

The previous significant outage was recorded in January when the desktop website had crashed for some reason. The Twitter team is yet to make an official statement regarding the unexpected outage.
