Twitter goes down again; thousands of users await access

Website outage monitor DownDetector said that Twitter has been facing issues throughout the day, the last one cropping up around 5:18 PM IST. 

Micro-blogging site Twitter crashed once again on Saturday with many users reporting logout errors and failure to retrieve tweets.

While most users reported issues with the website, others complained about issues with the Android app

Earlier this morning, Twitter suffered from a global 'access issue' which was also acknowledged by the platform. 

"Tweets may not be loading for some of you. We are working on fixing a problem and you will be back on the timeline soon," Twitter had said.

Clearly, the issue doesn't seem like the issues have been resolved completely.
