According to Twitter, the firm has made "updates to improve video quality" on the site. The social media giant promises that freshly submitted videos would be less pixelated for a better viewing experience in a tweet. More specifically, Twitter informed The Verge that it had eliminated a pre-processing step to fix the issue. This phase appears to divide the footage a user is attempting to submit into smaller pieces for more straightforward processing. Users should be aware that only new videos will experience quality improvements, while previous films on the site will not be affected by this upgrade (yet).

Meanwhile, Twitter is developing a new feature that would prevent unwanted, poisonous comments to your tweets. "We're looking into new tools called 'Filter' and 'Limit' that might help you keep potentially hazardous content — and those who could generate it — away from your answers," Twitter Senior Product Designer Paula Barcante said in a post.

Twitter has been attempting to restrict the poisonous responses received on its website by providing tools that allow you to be more proactive in stopping them from being delivered. It is also experimenting with a function that automatically filters malicious communications. Users who use the new "Safety Mode" will have their "mentions" filtered for seven days, preventing them from seeing messages marked as likely to contain hate speech or insults.
