Tesla’s autopilot system detected that the driver was unresponsive, so the car stopped on its own in a tunnel and prevented a fatal crash.

Drunk driving is one of the main reasons for road accidents worldwide. However, the most advanced technology saved the life of a driver. Yes, the Tesla car successfully kept alive an intoxicated driver who fell unconscious during a drive. In a video shared by AustinTeslaClub on Twitter, an unconscious driver car be seen inside the moving vehicle. The 2-minute-long clip displays how the auto-pilot feature slows and finally stops the car. 

The video, which another driver recorded, shows the white colour vehicle rushing towards a dimly lit tunnel. When the camera zooms inside the Tesla car, one can see that the driver was not in conscious state and the car was on auto-pilot mode. However, it is essential to notice that the AI miraculously senses the driver’s situation, slows the vehicle, and ultimately stops it. Finally, the emergency assistance reaches the spot and rescue the intoxicated driver. 

After being shared online, the video has accumulated over 1.1 million views and various comments. Many have praised Tesla's technology, while others have evaluated its dangers. Watch the video.
