Sony Xperia X gets ₹14000 price cut, but should you buy it?

Synopsis

Flipkart is now selling the Sony Xperia X at ₹24,999. The price of the device is slashed by ₹14,000 as it was originally priced at ₹38,990.

Sony Xperia X has received a price cut of ₹14,000, and it is now available for ₹24,990. It was originally priced at ₹38,990.

It is now available on a discounted price at Flipkart, dipped in Graphite black, Lime gold, White and Rose gold colours. Let's quickly brush through the specifications. The device sports a 5-inch Full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution powered by X-Reality for mobile engine.

Under the hood, it gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB onboard storage that is expandable up to 200GB via microSD card slot. It comes equipped with a 23MP rear snapper and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. A 2620mAh battery completes the package.

What works in Xperia X's favour is the device is by a seasoned OEM, and one can easily expect a good performance. However, talking about other devices available featuring Snapdragon 650, the Redmi Note 3 comes with one and is priced around Rs 10,000. Moreover, the Rs 24,000 price range would mean facing tough competition from OnePlus 3/3T that dominates the market for a few thousands more, but these few thousands make it totally worth it.
