Synopsis

Moto G5S sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. The larger Moto G5S Plus gets a slightly larger 5.5-inch Full HD display. A 3000mAh battery fuels the device, along with Turbo Power.

Two latest additions to the smartphone segment are the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus. The 'S' stands for special editions.

The G5S sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card slot. It gets a 16 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture on the back and a 5 megapixel snapper on the front.

The connectivity options include Bluetooth, 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi. It also comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner. Finally, a 3000mAh battery fuels the device, along with Turbo Power that offers 5 hours of power in just 15 minutes.

The larger Moto G5S Plus gets a slightly larger 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor. There are two variants of the device - 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. It storage can be further expanded up to 128GB. Moto G5S Plus is fitted with dual camera setup featuring two 13 megapixel sensors with f/2.0 aperture.

It also gets a 3000mAh battery, TurboPower, connectivity options and fingerprint scanner, just like the smaller variant. The G5S is priced at EUR 249 that translates to Rs 19,000 and the G5S Plus at EUR 200, amounting to Rs 22,700. There is no word on launch or availability in India yet.
