Moto E Power sets record, 1 lakh units sold in a day

Synopsis

Indian e-commerce major Flipkart has reported a sale of one lakh units of Lenovo’s new phone in the market - the Moto E Power.

Following the reports of a record sale of the phone, Moto India tweeted: "Moto & @Flipkart have made History with 100k #MotoE3Power phones sold on launch day! Highest ever sold on day 1 @Flipkart. Thanks to our fans."

The primary reason for the record sale of the device seems to be the 3500mAh battery backup with a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor and 2GB RAM in a price range of ₹5,000 to ₹8,000.

Moto E Power comes with a 5-inch display and 16GB internal memory, which looks like a good deal in the given price range.

The device is equipped with decent 8MP camera rear with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The phone includes 4G LTE with VoLTE support and dual-SIM slots.

The device, powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow, is going to be a steal deal of this festive season.
