Micromax launches a new smartphone in India at ₹7499

Synopsis

Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+ sports a 6-inch qHD IPS display. It gets 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage.  The device supports 4G VoLTE.

The Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus Q426+ sports a large 6-inch display. It comes with qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. That's quite low resolution for a device with such a large display.

Under the hood, it gets powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The 16GB onboard memory is further expandable via a microSD card slot. On the camera front, you will get 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. It's a dual SIM device with support for 4G VoLTE.

As an introductory offer, Micromax is also offering a Jio SIM with its device. The connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a microUSB port. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and finally a 3000mAh battery fuels the device.

The device comes dipped in Black colour. It is available through offline stores, and the device is expected to hit online stores too.
