Micromax's Infinity series will compete with Samsung and others. Micromax Infinity series is said to sport a display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Micromax is all set to pull the wraps off its all-new Infinity series on 22 August. The company is expected to launch multiple phones and the new Micromax Infinity series is said to sport a display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Not much is known about the device expect for the 18:9 aspect ratio. It is to be seen how Micromax's Infinity series will compete with Samsung and others. Samsung had introduced the Infinite display and curved design that offer a refreshing change from the monotonous phone designs. Infinity display means a bezel-less screen along with a wider resolution.

While we will have to wait to see what Micromax has to offer until 22 August, Micromax had announced two all-new sub-₹10000 devices - Dual 5 and Bharat 2.  We also saw the company launch the Evok Power and Evok Note, priced at ₹6999 and ₹9499, respectively.

The Evok Power, as the name goes, comes with a massive 4000mAh battery. The specs sheet includes a 5-inch HD display with a 2.5D curved glass and powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. On the storage front, it gets 16GB onboard storage.

The Evok Note sports a metal design. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and 3GB of RAM, It gets 32GB onboard storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card slot. Read more here
