IT hiring is also becoming more specialised as companies are looking for higher level of expertise. On the other hand, employees will also have to continuously upgrade themselves and may not be able to sustain with their current skill-set, points out an Indian Express report.

 

There has been growth in emerging technologies in 2016. And, this rise will only grow further in 2017. Look at some of the top tech trends of 2017 here. The report further adds that the newer skill set and jobs would be needed in emerging technologies like Internet of Things, Virtual Reality and so on.

 

Citing experts, the report adds that the recruitment industry may see sustained growth as most sectors will continue to hire in the first half of the year. Meanwhile, a DNA report highlights the MyHiringClub.com & JobPortal.co.in Employment Trend Survey that reveals the organised sector is likely to create about 8.75 lakh new jobs in 2017.

 

The report further adds that companies will be looking for more skilled and contract jobs. These jobs could also be sought by Central government's programmes such as Digital India and Smart Cities. Around 30,000 to 50,000 new IT jobs could be added in 2017, the report adds.
