Recently, Jio had to cancel its Summer Surprise offer that customers could avail of until 15 April for three months of complimentary data and calls as demanded by TRAI. 1. What is Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan?

Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offers free unlimited data, voice calls and SMS, along with access to Jio's apps for a period of three months. Yes, it pretty much sounds like a repackaged Summer Surprise offer.

2. What are the tariff rates involved?

Existing Prime members

So, existing Prime users can pay ₹309 to get 1GB data/day or ₹509 for 2GB data/day. However, this is applicable for only those Prime users who haven't registered for Summer Surprise plan.

Non-Prime members

If you are still not a Prime member or don't own a Jio card, then here's your chance to become one. With Dhan Dhana Dhan, Jio allows subscribers to recharge of ₹408 which means ₹99 Prime + 309 recharge to get the benefits of free data for three months or say three cycles of 28 days. Similarly, the other option is ₹609 - ₹99 Prime + ₹509 recharge. If you look at the rates, they are just slightly more expensive from the original Prime offer, yet nominal.

3. What's the difference between Summer Surprise and Dhan Dhana Dhan?

As aforementioned, Dhan Dhana Dhan looks like a repackaged Summer Surprise offer, but at a slightly higher cost. Another difference is the Summer Surprise let users recharge with higher value for maintaining speeds and avoiding FUP.
