iPhone 8 (encased)
— Evan Blass (@evleaks) August 8, 2017A leak from GeekBar hints at the iPhone 8 or now the iPhone X could come in a new 512GB storage variant. A dummy iPhone 7s (or supposedly iPhone 8) model had also surfaced. It comes from iPhone leak specialist Sonny Dickson (via 9To5Mac) revealing a glass back and inductive charging feature. It was earlier known that the iPhone 7s models could and not glass.
So far, it is believed that the iPhone 7s models won't come with too many changes and it’s the iPhone 8 that will be the limelight dubbed as the 'anniversary edition'.
There is likely to be a significant difference in their pricing too. Fast Company had previously said that the luxury anniversary edition will cost not less than a whopping $1000, may be slightly higher. Apple developer John Gruber had said that the base model of the anniversary edition of the most high-end iPhone will start at $1200 that transforms to approximately Rs 77,300. This goes against the previous rumours that claimed the price won't exceed $1000.
