iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S prices slashed by ₹22K in India

On the back of Apple's not particularly exciting launch of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, it has once again grabbed the attention of the Indian market by announcing a huge discount of ₹22,000 on the iPhone models released over the last two years.
For the other parts of the world, Apple has followed its regular approach of discounting $100 (approximately ₹6,702) on its previous models, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S.
But, for the iPhone patriots in India, the discount is almost four times the norm.
As per a Times of India report, the iPhone 6 (128GB), which until now was priced at ₹80,000, will be available for ₹60,000 in India. The iPhone 6S (128 GB) will now be available for ₹70,000, which earlier cost ₹82,000.
Not just the iPhone 6 and 6S, but even the iPhone SE, that was launched earlier in 2016, can now be bought for ₹44,000 instead of ₹49,000.
