A video and images circulating online showing a dead rat in a packet of dal that was bought by a woman in Hyderabad has shocked online buyers.

She received the packed the next day with a stinky, decomposing rat. The report adds that she has filed a complaint with the Madhapur police station. Furthermore, she was also contacted by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials.
Meanwhile, BigBasket has acknowledged the issue and apologised.
