HP Spectre: World’s thinnest laptop on its way to India

Synopsis

 

HP Inc is all ready for a big launch on Tuesday as the computer major unveils its HP Spectre in India.

 

The new gadget, which the company has claimed to be a combination of "art and technology", is as thin as an AAA battery, i.e. 10.4 mm. The laptop is expected to be as light as 1.1 kgs approximately.  

 

The device comes in two variants - Intel Core i5 and i7 processors - and a 13.3-inch edge-to-edge display. It is expected to be sold at a price of $1,249 across the globe. 

 

 

 

The world’s thinnest laptop will have up to 8GB of RAM and a storage capacity of up to 512 GB. 

 

The battery of the device comes with an innovative split feature. The battery can be divided into two pieces, both parts of which are equally robust and can support the device for about nine and a half hours.
