2017 Activa 125 launched at a price starting at Rs 56,954. It is India's first automatic scooter that is AHO as well as BS-IV compliant.

The 2017 model of the Honda Activa 125 has been launched in India. It is available for a price starting at Rs 56,954 for standard variant, Rs 58,900 for the Alloy Drum and Rs 61,362 for the Alloy Disc. All prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi.

 

The USP of the new model is it bags the crown of India's first automatic scooter that is AHO as well as BS-IV compliant. It comes with Honda's patented Combi Braking system (CBS) with an Equaliser system. 

 

It sports new LED position lights and a new chrome chest, and comes fitted with a new mobile charging socket. The Automatic Headlamp On / AHO offers improved visibility to help avoid accidents. The 125cc engine produces 8.52 bhp at 6,500rpm and 10.544 Nm at 5,000rpm. 

 

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India's Senior Vice President, Yadvinder Singh Guleria said, "Activa 125 is No. 1 selling 125cc automatic scooter of India with over 6 lakh customers and counting. Invigorating the segment once again, Honda's Activa 125 is now the first automatic scooter in India to meet both the AHO and BS-IV norms."

 

It will be available in five colours namely, Matte Crust Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Midnight Blue Metallic, Black and Rebel Red Metallic.
