The company announced the new update on its workspace blog. The statement stated that Google Meet users would grant rights for hosting a meeting with up to 25 co-hosts. The host can give control from the people panel. Additionally, all the co-hosts would get the same access and rules as the primary host.

Further, the host and co-hosts now can limit who all can share screens, send chat messages, and mute all participants with one click, via the Quick Access settings.
When the settings are turned on, participants from the same domain can join the meeting from the mobile or desktop. Meanwhile, if it is turned off, participants would have to wait for the host to join the meeting and only invited participants will be able to join. For Android users, the updates would be starting from August 16, while iOS users would receive the update starting from August 30.
