The Samsung versus Apple debate is not new and has taken centre stage yet again. Just ahead of Apple’s next launch in September, Samsung announced its Galaxy Note S7.

Going by the claimed features of the phone, it looks like quite a promising device and the success of the Galaxy Note 5 make the claims stronger.

The device will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and has a 5.7-inch Quad HD dual-edge SuperAmoled display with 1440x2560 pixel resolution. Also, the device is protected by the popular Gorilla Glass 5.

Whereas, the rumoured iPhone 7 is said to have 4.7 inch IPS LCD with 750 X 1334 pixels resolution.

The company is offering both iris scanner and a fingerprint sensor in the phone, along with an octa-core Exynos 8890 processor or an alternative quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, with a 4GB RAM.

The new iPhone is also expected to have a fingerprint scanner as always, but there haven't even been rumours about an iris scanner.

The storage capacity of the Note S7 is also comparatively higher than Apple’s next. The phone has 64GB inbuilt storage and can be expanded up to 258GB using a micro SD card.

On the other hand, the iPhone 7 may have 16GB or 32GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB.

The battery of the Galaxy Note S7 is also a staggering 3500 mAh (non-removable), while iPhone 7 rumours suggest that the phone may struggle with its 1960 mAh battery.

Above all, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has already been announced, and there are still doubts over Apple launching the iPhone 7 in September.
