Asus ZenFone 3S Max launched at ₹14999. Lava 4G Connect M1 feature phone launched at ₹3333.

The Zenfone 3S Max sports a unibody design fuelled by a massive 5000mAh battery and fingerprint scanner that claims to unlock the device in 0.5 seconds. A variant of the Zenfone 3 Max, it comes with a 5.2-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass, 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Mt6750 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras. 

 

The 32GB built-in storage is expandable up to 1TB. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.0, and GPS/ A-GPS.

 


Lava has launched the 4G Connect M1 priced at ₹3333. It is said to be the 'first VoLTE, 4G-enabled device in India'. Apart from 4G, the device supports 2G calling.

 

Other specs include 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB onboard storage, 1750mAh battery and comes pre-loaded with Facebook Lite. 

 

Commenting on the launch, Gaurav Nigam, Head - Product, Lava International said, "At Lava, we strive to think ahead of the curve w.r.t product innovation and the launch of Lava 4G Connect M1 is a step forward in this direction. The launch of this smart feature phone, we believe, will create possibilities for users as they will now be able to consume digital content and even do digital transactions."
