Airtel is back with yet another lucrative offer for users to combat Jio. This time it brings 60GB of free data for six months.
In the digital-age, mobile data is arguably becoming a necessity rather than luxury. In the past one year, it has been raining attractive data plans, owing to Jio. Now, Airtel has decided to push the boundary by offering 60GB of free data for six months.
To get the free data, Airtel users have to download and install the Airtel TV app. Once they do so, the free data will be credited to their accounts within 24 hours. So, you will get 10GB free data per month, amounting to 60GB for the next six months.
However, the offer is available only via the MyAirtel app. However, it is only for postpaid users. So, you first install Airtel TV app, and then have to access the My Airtel app, which will show an ad banner to claim this free data.
Airtel had recently announced whopping 84GB data for 84 days. The Rs 399 data plan brings 1GB data per day for 84 days, along with unlimited local and STD calls to all networks. This offer is available for prepaid users with a 4G-enabled device. Airtel also offers Rs 244 plan with 1GB data per day with unlimited calls on the Airtel network for 70 days.
Similarly, Vodafone had announced a new plan for its prepaid users. This plan brings to user 1GB data every day alongside unlimited local and national calls. This comes as a part of a special tariff recharge priced at Rs 344 with a validity of 28 days.
Just for the JioPhone users, Jio has announced the new Rs 153 data plan for unlimited 4G data along with unlimited calls and SMS. The unlimited data will come with a cap of 0.5GB 4G data per day and the speed will be 128kbps once you have exhausted the 0.5GB 4G data per day. You can check out the best data plans under Rs 50 from Jio, Airtel, Vodafone, and BSNL.
