Not enough evidence to nab Dinakaran in the bribe 2 leaves symbol bribery charges?

Synopsis

After the division of AIADMK, the Election Commission had frozen the party’s two leaves symbol On April 25, TTV Dinakaran was arrested for allegedly attempting to bribe an Election Commission official This case is under investigation by a special court in Delhi

Delhi Police on Friday, July 14, 2017, filed the first charge sheet against the suspected middleman in the Election Commission bribery case.

Following the division of AIADMK, the Election Commission had frozen the party’s two leaves symbol. 

On April 25, TTV Dinakaran was arrested for allegedly attempting to bribe an Election Commission official. Later he was granted bail.

This case is under investigation by a special court in Delhi. 

Yesterday, a charge sheet was filed against the middleman Sukesh Chandrasekar who was arrested in connection with this case.

Delhi policemen said, “The first charge sheet includes Sukesh Chandrasekar for being a middleman, for making a fake Rajya Sabha member ID card and for creating many other false documents.  If the crime is proven, a life time imprisonment would be given under the Indian Criminal Law. The other suspects such as Sasikala’s nephew Dinakaran, his friend Mallikarjuna, hawala operators Lalit Kumar and Nathu Singh are on bail. We are gathering some more evidence to prove their involvement in this case.”

The case has been postponed to July 17.
