It is said that the Tamil Nadu congress members have helped Sasikala in getting the special privileges inside the prison. DIG Roopa has filed a report that the AIADMK leader Sasikala was being given special treatment at the Parappana Agrahara prison, including a special kitchen being set up for her. It was also said that the senior jail officials had accepted Rs 2 crore as bribe to facilitate it.

A high-level inquiry in this case has been ordered by the Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah. Meanwhile, it is speculated that some of the most important congress members have helped Sasikala in getting those special facilities. It was also said that the congress members have met the prison authorities in secret.
Congress sources reveal, “The Assembly election is soon going to be held in Karnataka. This speculation about congress members is considered to be a serious threat by the congress government under the leadership of Siddaramaiah. They fear losing the votes of 4 percent Brahmins and 3 percent Tamil people as these communities believe that there is foul play in former chief minister Jayalalithaa’s death. Hence, this recent speculation has created a discontentment among the communities and BJP is trying to make use of this opportunity to redirect the votes”.
Rahul Gandhi is deeply dissatisfied with the members of Tamil Nadu Congress for spoiling the reputation of his party.
