Tamil Nadu government file case against overcharging theatres

Synopsis

TN government has been insisting the theatre owners to regulate the ticket price The theatre owners were reported to have violated the government’s order Chennai High court demands reply from the Theatre Owners’ Association

The Tamil Nadu government has filed a report in the High Court saying that will be taken on  theatres who charge high for tickets.

The TN government has already ordered the theatre owners not to charge high for tickets, but the theatre owners were reported to have violated the government’s order. Following the violation, the TN government had decided to file a case against those theatres.

The court has demanded a reply from the Theatre Owners’ Association before July 10.

The case has been postponed.
