Presidential Election: Venkaiah Naidu seeks support from DMK

Synopsis

Venkaiah Naidu has reached out to DMK leader M K Stalin regarding the presidential polls.   BJP has chosen Former Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind, a Dalit leader, as the nominee for the forthcoming presidential election. CM Palaniswami was also requested to be at the venue of the Presidential elections.

BJP has reached out to DMK party for support in the election. It is said that Venkaiah Naidu has reached out to DMK leader M K Stalin regarding the presidential polls. 
BJP has chosen Former Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind, a Dalit leader, as the nominee for the forthcoming presidential election.

BJP has urged all the regional parties in the state to vote for Ram Nath Kovind. Venkaiah Naidu has also spoke to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palaniswami and asked him to be present at the time of the filing of nomination. Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Shiv Sena have already announced their support for Kovind.
