Now Coimbatore to get metro rail

After Chennai, Coimbatore will get its own Metro Rail The project will be funded by German bank KFW
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E Palaniswami announced in the State Assembly that after Chennai, Coimbatore will get its own Metro Rail.
“Metro rail project is mandatory to reduce traffic congestion in Coimbatore. A detailed project report will be prepared on its possibility,” said the Chief Minister.
He said the report will be prepared by Chennai Metro Rail Ltd.
The project will be funded by German bank KFW.
