Karthick has been a character actor ever since his role in Raavanan movie directed by Maniratnam. He went on to act in Maanja Velu, Puli Vesham and Anegan.
It was reported that Karthick would act in the part 2 of his movie ‘Amaran’. But the project was dropped due to financial crisis.
It is now reported that Karthick will act with Surya in the movie 'Thaana Serntha Kootam', which is being directed by Vignesh Shivan. Karthick is slated to be the antagonist in the film.
Along with other actors such as Keerthi Suresh, Ramya Krishnan, Senthil, Kovai Sarala, Thambi Ramaiah, Saranya, RJ Balaji and Sathyan, the scenes of Karthick are also being shot.
It is expected that Karthick will play a powerful role similar to what he played in Anegan.
