DIG Roopa thanks Kiran Bedi

DIG Roopa receives accolades from Kiran Bedi. In a Tweet, Bedi says, "Keep going strong. Wherever you be posted. Country needs you. You will inspire younger generations to be like you”. Roopa unearthed the irregularities and favouritism in the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in Bangaluru.
The Deputy Inspector General D Roopa has submitted a report alleging irregularities and corruption at Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in Bangaluru. The report also states that special facilities are being provided to AIADMK general secretary VK Sasikala for a bribe of Rs 2 Cr.
Following this, Kiran Bedi, in her twitter account, has congratulated the DIG for taking the bold step. The tweet reads, “Keep going strong. Wherever you be posted. Country needs you. You will inspire younger generations to be like you”.
In reply to that, DIG Roopa has tweeted, “Thanks madam. A word of support from you is equal to gaining the strength of hundred elephants”.
