After what happened on 31st night in Bengaluru, people have raised questions regarding women’s safety, not only in this city, but throughout the nation. People have voiced their opinions through social media platforms, news channels, newspapers and several other medium. The entire nation has stood in solidarity with women and their safety and so did Bengaluru FC.

 

They chose to wear a pink jersey instead of their regular blue ones in order to show their support. This is surely an act that would inspire millions. The hashtag #WeForWomen was even trending on Twitter and other social media websites. 

 

We already have seen Akshay Kumar and Virat Kohli standing up against the people who testified the fact and asked the women of this nation to stay strong and hold on to their grounds. Now it was time for Sunil Chhetri and co. to stand up for the cause.

 

Not only did they condemn the mass molestation that happened in Bengaluru but also they asked the people to make women’s safety their top priority.
