Kohli overtakes Gayle as leading scorer in a single IPL season

During the course of his unbeaten, match-winning 75 against KKR, RCB captain Virat Kohli overtook teammate Chris Gayle’s record runs tally for a single IPL season.
Gayle had gathered 733 runs in 15 matches for RCB in 2012 edition. With his latest knock, Kohli moved to 752 runs in just 12 games.
In tremendous form this year, Kohli is also the only player to score three centuries in a single IPL season.
