Synopsis

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the 'Niti Xtreme Ultra Countdown Run' in Dehradun. He called it a movement to inspire youth and a test of mental strength, praising participants as brand ambassadors for the state.

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off 'Niti Xtreme Ultra Countdown Run', organised by Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board, on Saturday. The 'Niti Xtreme Ultra Countdown Run' was flagged off from the Uttarakhand CM Camp Office premises gate.

A movement to inspire youth

Dhami said the 'Niti Xtreme Ultra Run' is more than just an event, describing it as a movement to inspire energy, opportunity and confidence, while praising Uttarakhand's youth for their dedication and patriotism. "This 'Niti Xtreme Ultra Run' is not just an event but a campaign to awaken new energy, opportunity and belief. You all being here early in the morning proves that the youth of Uttarakhand are filled with courage and commitment towards the country," he said.

Test of mental strength and determination

Singh Dhami said the 'Niti Xtreme Ultra Run' is a test of mental strength and determination as much as physical endurance, praising participants for their courage and commitment to taking Uttarakhand forward. "This run is not merely a test of your physical prowess; it serves to bolster your willpower, patience, and self-confidence. Running in a remote and arduous terrain like the Niti Valley is not a feat within everyone's capability. Therefore, it demands inner self-assurance--a spirit as indomitable as the Himalayas, and the courage to embrace challenges head-on. I take pride in seeing you all standing before me today--a group of spirited and resolute young individuals who aspire to propel this 'Devbhumi' forward in every sphere," Dhami said while addressing the participants.

Participants hailed as brand ambassadors

Dhami hailed the participants as ambassadors of Uttarakhand's courage, tourism and culture, and congratulated them for their achievement. "In terms of courage, tourism, and culture, you are, in every sense, the brand ambassadors of this 'Devbhumi'. It would be no exaggeration to address each one of you as a brand ambassador. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you all on this achievement," he said.
