Indian woman hockey player Vandana Katariya came up with a splendid performance to help India finish in the fourth spot at the Tokyo Olympics. She also scored a hat-trick in the match against South Africa, thus becoming the first Indian female to do so in the Games history.
Meanwhile, she recently launched her new official Twitter handle. However, she was quick enough to point out that a couple of fake Twitter accounts existed by her name, as she urged her followers to report and block those accounts.
“Hello all! My family and I are going through a very tough time. Thanks to everyone for support. It’s a humble request to some people to not increase my troubles. I am seeing people making my fake accounts and sharing tweets from them ON MY BEHALF,” she wrote.
