International level shooter Vartika Singh has accused Union minister Smriti Irani and two of her "aides" of demanding money from her for a government posting. The hearing in an MP-MLA court is scheduled for January 2.
Vartika's petition alleges that two aides claiming to be Smriti's aides sought Rs 25 lakh for her bid to become a member of a central women's commission.
Vartika claims that people close to the minister issued a fake letter to her, which appointed her as a central women's commission member.
